That's the whole idea behind Orland Pharmacy. The big stores have convenience: drive-thrus, delivery, text reminders. Small-town pharmacies have something harder to copy: people who remember your name, take the time to explain your medication, and pick up the phone to fix things for you. We built Orland Pharmacy to do both.
The store
Walk in and look up. There's a black industrial ceiling, warm Edison pendant lights, a full wall of vitamins and supplements, and one word in big red letters above the pharmacy counter: WELCOME. We put it there on purpose, and it's the promise this whole website is built around.
It's a modern space, but it doesn't feel like a chain. The counter is where people stop, say hello, and ask the question they've been meaning to ask. Outside, a drive-thru window and curbside pickup cover the days when you can't come in.
How we work
- You'll be greeted by name. Our regulars aren't account numbers.
- Our pharmacists take the time. Every question gets a real answer, and counseling is part of the job, not an extra.
- We do the legwork. Transfers, doctor's office calls, insurance questions. We make the calls so you don't have to.
- We work around your schedule. Reviewers tell us we "go out of our way to accommodate" them. That's the standard.
- We look for savings. When your medication has a savings program, we'll look for it.
- We don't make distance an obstacle. Free prescription delivery anywhere in Illinois.
Out in the community
A pharmacy is part of the neighborhood. We've set up health checks in the store, where our pharmacists took blood pressure readings and answered questions. We opened with a ribbon cutting on Will Cook Road in August 2022, and in 2024 our neighbors named us a Nextdoor Neighborhood Favorite.

Orland Pharmacy is a member of Health Mart, a national network of independently owned pharmacies. Being part of it gives us access to big-pharmacy tools and purchasing. Being independent means nobody at a corporate office decides how we treat you.
