Accessibility Statement

Orland Pharmacy wants every neighbor to be able to use this website, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, voice control, magnification, or who simply prefer larger text. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA.

What we've done

  • Every page is tested with automated accessibility checks (axe-core) and by hand with a keyboard.
  • Text meets WCAG AA color contrast, and body text is 18 pixels. Form fields, icons and focus outlines meet the 3:1 contrast rule.
  • Everything works with a keyboard. A "Skip to main content" link comes first, the keyboard focus outline is always visible, and it is never hidden behind the header or the phone action bar.
  • The phone menu moves focus into itself when opened, and Escape closes it and returns you to the menu button.
  • Pages use proper headings, landmarks and labels, so screen readers can jump by section or heading.
  • Photos have text descriptions. Decorative icons are hidden from screen readers so they don't add noise.
  • The prescription transfer form has a visible label on every field, marks the optional field, and supports your browser's autofill.
  • The site works when zoomed to 400 percent without sideways scrolling, and it respects text-spacing adjustments.
  • Animations are gentle, stop on their own within five seconds, and turn off completely if your device is set to reduce motion.
  • Links that open a new tab tell you so.

Known limitations

Links to outside services, such as Google Maps and Google reviews, open third-party websites whose accessibility we do not control.
